Early Works

Agent X first came to success in 2001 when their debut single "Decoy", initially made as a college project, became one of the biggest Dance records of the year selling 12,000 on white label before later releasing through Warner Music. Until this day "Decoy" is considered a UK Garage classic and has made Kiss 100's DJ EZ's successful series of Pure Garage compilation CDs featured on several editions including Pure Garage Classics: Mixed Live by DJ EZ.[1] Since their formation in 2001 the team have been responsible for a series of successful mainstream UK releases including songs with Tinie Tempah, Skepta Ironik, H "Two" O, Dappy from N-Dubz, and Mutya Buena formerly in Sugababes as well as having several official and unofficial remix credits on many American top 10 Billboard recording artists including Ne-Yo,[2] Mariah Carey,[3] Taio Cruz, Jason Derulo, and Keri Hilson.

Most Recent Works

In 2010 Agent X produced "Bad Boy", the 1st single for independent Grime rapper Skepta, which peaked at #26[4] in the Official UK Singles Chart. After the success of "Bad Boy", they teamed up again for Skepta's 2nd single "Rescue Me" which Agent X produced and co-wrote. "Rescue Me" peaked at #14[5] in the Official UK Singles Chart. Greg Bonnick initially sang the demo and although uncredited as the singer, Greg's vocals were used on the single's hook. All four members of Agent X made a cameo appearance in Skepta's both music videos.

In September 2010 and February 2011[6] Agent X have been traveling between London and Los Angeles[7] for extensive periods of time, keeping a video diary on YouTube[8] of their recording sessions. In Los Angeles they have been working with songwriters and artists,[9] including Makeba Riddick, James Fauntleroy, The Writing Camp, Alex James, Lauren Evans, Andre Merritt, Lyrica Anderson.

Artist Development

In 2011 Agent X announced the signing[10] of a British duo Best of Both, consisting of a singers/rappers Chris Lindsey and Myron Jordine, both 19 years old at the time the deal was struck. Agent X produced and co-wrote the debut single "Tipsy Feeling". An official music video[11] and several Dubstep remixes have been found on YouTube. Best of Both featured on Roll Deep's late 2011 Single, 'Picture Perfect,' providing the vocals on the chorus, although they do not appear in the video itself
